This week TGIF features Chelsea soccer, Tom Brady being an idiot, guitar-playing basketball players, and a Canadian police chase.

SOCCER BALLBOYS HAVE A HAZARD-OUS JOB
Welcome to Ballboy-gate (yes, it’s a thing). Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is red-carded for doing what he does best – kicking things. However, this time he happened to kick a person. (Ooops?) In his defense, he just wanted to get the ball back in play quickly since they were down 2-0, and that dodgey ball boy chap is obviously stalling. Hazard was suspended three games, and the ballboy was also yellow-carded for flopping.

TOM BRADY ALSO WAS RED-CARDED
…for this cleat-first leg sweep of Baltimore’s Ed Reed that would’ve made the Cobra Kai Sensei proud. Brady apologized, but was still fined $10,000 by the NFL. What he SHOULD have been fined for was letting the referee tackle him as he tried to rush for a first down. To put this in perspective, 49ers running back Frank Gore was fined $10,500 for wearing illegal socks. Because fashion DON’TS are $500 worse than trying to take out someone’s knee cap.

…when former NFL quarterback JaMarcus Russell announced he wants to make a comeback. He’s currently over 300 lbs.
