RIP to Ray Harryhausen, one of the greatest special-effects artists ever. To date, the Medusa scene in Clash of the Titans is still one of the most intense action sequences I’ve ever seen. Absolutely freaked me out as a kid.

THE DEATH STARE, EH
You couldn’t pour maple syrup thick enough to block the stare down between April Reimer (Toronto Maple Leaf’s goalie James Reimer’s wife) and Elisha Cuthbert (Leaf’s caption Dion Phaneuf’s girlfriend) at the end of a 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins.

What bothers me more, though, is the Dax Sheppard look-alike wearing a Minnesota Northstars hat. Is Punk’d back on the air?
